Good to Know

Checked September 8, 2026: the official paving notice still lists closures, but some projected reopening dates have passed. Call 208-652-7520 to confirm your trailhead and route; do not assume the older notice describes today’s access. For a first family visit, choose a short out-and-back route with a clear turnaround point. Confirm parking and restroom access at that starting point before setting out; the full corridor is much longer than a short neighborhood ride.
