Celebration Park near Melba is Idaho’s only archaeological park. Families can explore ancient petroglyphs, learn to use an atlatl, walk to the historic Guffey Railroad Bridge, picnic beside the Snake River, hike, fish, birdwatch, and camp.

Good to Know
The park is open year-round, 24 hours a day. The visitor center is generally open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A brief boat-ramp closure is anticipated during August 2026 for the final phase of improvement work, but the broader park remains open.
