- The campground accommodates tents and RVs. The sun shelter holds up to 75 people; reservations and fees are separate.
- Camping has a 14-day stay limit. Recreation.gov requires a reservation before arrival, with no walk-in sites, including during its September–December non-peak season. Call 208-476-1255 for current dates and services. Keep swimming away from the boat-launch area.
- The approach from Orofino includes about four miles of steep road with tight curves. No gasoline or ice is sold at the campground; arrive prepared.
