Slate Creek Recreation Site

Slate Creek Recreation Site south of White Bird is a small, developed Lower Salmon River campground with shade, a boat launch, and six designated campsites.

Good to Know

Day use is free. Camping costs $10 per night per camper plus $4 for each additional vehicle not in tow. A Federal Interagency Access Pass provides a 50% campsite discount. Camping is limited to designated sites with a 14-day stay limit. The site is approximately 10 miles south of White Bird at milepost 215 on U.S. Highway 95.
