- No water, trash or toilet services after September 30. Bring drinking water and confirm current conditions at 208-259-3361.
- Snow may block the access road until mid-June. Summer weekends and holidays are busy.
- Only non-motorized watercraft are allowed on Bull Trout Lake. Equestrian campers must have a horse.
- Store food and trash securely in bear country. The Forest Service describes group sites for up to 50 people each; confirm your reservation’s capacity.

Visitor update, October 15, 2026: The Forest Service page, updated October 5, allows post-season use without camping fees. Water pumps are locked, and toilet cleaning and toilet paper are not provided. Bring all drinking water and supplies and pack out trash.
