Park visit or pool visit?
Choose the grassy park area for a simple outdoor stop. A swim requires separate planning: the pool is seasonal, and the city directs visitors to City Hall for operating information. Do not use the park’s availability as confirmation that the pool is open.
Near the river
Keep children close near the riverbank. The riverside location does not make this a supervised river-swimming area. If you want a structured swimming session, use the pool’s confirmed schedule instead.
Bring a ball or a picnic blanket for a flexible stop, and allow for school activities around the neighboring athletic grounds.
