Eastern Idaho State Fair 2026

Eastern Idaho State Fair 2026 brings nine days of family entertainment to Blackfoot with carnival rides, agricultural exhibits, livestock, fair food, live entertainment, horse racing, Indian Relay races, grandstand events, and other fair traditions.

The 2026 fair theme is “Red, White and Blue Jeans,” celebrating the country’s 250th anniversary with a patriotic twist on classic fair fun.

💡 Good to Know

• ⏰ Gates open at 8:00 AM, but many buildings, barns, vendors, and concessions do not open until 10:00 AM. Carnival hours vary by day and generally run until around 11:00 PM.
• 🎟️ Fair-week admission is $9 adults, $6 ages 6–11, free for ages 5 and younger, and $7 for seniors 65+.
• 🇺🇸 Active-duty service members with current military ID receive free admission.
• 🥤 Families may bring coolers, but alcohol is not permitted.
• 👶 A limited number of strollers and wheelchairs are available to rent for the day.
• 🐕 Pets are not permitted except qualifying service animals.
• 🎉 The annual fair parade is Saturday, September 5 at 10:00 AM in Blackfoot.
