Mountain Home Skatepark

Mountain Home Skatepark is an outdoor skating destination within Richard Aguirre Park in Mountain Home, Idaho. Built by Dreamland, it gives families a dedicated place for skateboarding and other permitted wheeled activities, with playgrounds and picnic areas elsewhere in the surrounding park.

Visiting Mountain Home Skatepark

The skatepark is open to the public from dawn to dusk. Plan your visit around daylight rather than the surrounding park’s later closing time. The city permits skateboards, bicycles, non-motorized scooters, and inline skates. Motorized vehicles are not allowed.

This is an unsupervised facility. The city recommends helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads. For a first visit, take a moment to watch how riders move through the space before joining in. Choose activities that match each rider’s experience, and keep younger children close while they get familiar with the setting.

• Keep food and drinks around the perimeter rather than in the riding area.
• Glass, animals, smoking, alcohol, and drugs are prohibited.
• Keep the park clean and free of stickers or graffiti.

The Mountain Home City Pool is also within Richard Aguirre Park. Swimming has separate seasonal hours and admission rules; check the pool’s current schedule before including a swim in your outing.
