Explore Acequia

Planning a family outing from Acequia? The four places below are in nearby Rupert, not within Acequia. They offer different kinds of stops, so choose the park that fits your plans before setting out.

Choose your Rupert outing

  • For a simple playground break: Lincoln Park has play equipment and picnic tables in a smaller neighborhood setting.
  • For a longer play-and-picnic visit: Neptune Park combines a playground with disc golf, tennis, basketball and covered picnic pavilions. The Rupert swimming pool is next door; check its separate schedule before planning to swim.
  • For a downtown stop: Historic Rupert Square puts a public gathering space beside shops and restaurants. It works well as a meeting point before exploring downtown or attending an announced community event.
  • For a ball game: Big Valley Ball Park is a four-field softball complex. Check the relevant team or tournament schedule if watching a game is the reason for your visit.

Plan before leaving Acequia

For a family gathering, ask Rupert City Hall about shelter reservations at Neptune Park or the Square. Open the individual listings below for each destination rather than navigating to Acequia itself.
