October Book Walk - Downey - October 30, 2026

Take a family walk and read a story along the way. South Bannock Library District changes the featured book each Friday during its October book-walk series.

When: Friday, October 30, 2026, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mountain Time. This is a drop-in walking window, so families can follow the signs at their own pace.

Where: Woodland Park, 56 Third E Street, Downey, Idaho 83234. Use Woodland Park, the park with the splash pad. The city says the splash-pad water is off for the season; this event is the walking-and-reading activity.

After the walk: The district invites participants to stop at a library for a prize. Friday branch hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; plan prize pickup during those hours.

Planning details: No fee, registration requirement or specific age restriction is stated in the announcement. For questions, call the library at 208-897-5270.
