Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise is a living garden destination featuring themed gardens, family programs, seasonal displays and spaces for exploring plants and nature. Its new 10-acre Community Grows Here expansion increased the Garden from 15 to 25 acres and added more room for education, events, accessible exploration and community gatherings.

💡 Good to Know
- The new expansion areas are open, but additional planting and future garden improvements will continue.
- The Parking Garden begins the visitor experience with trees, shrubs and perennials selected for Idaho’s climate.
- The Event Lawn may be used for concerts, educational programs and special events.
- The Garden’s regular parking lot is temporarily closed for construction. Park in the Table Rock Trailhead lot behind the Warden’s House, then follow signs to the admission kiosk behind the Administration Building.
- Regular hours are Monday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with last admission at 4:00 p.m. Hours and access can change because of weather or scheduled events.
- Check the official website before visiting, especially on concert and special-event days.
