Storybook Park in Burley centers on a community-built playground at the corner of Conant Avenue and 14th Street. The city lists the address as 1358 Conant Avenue and identifies picnic tables and restrooms alongside the play area.
A playground shaped by local children
The playground grew from a fundraising and planning effort led by local mothers. Schoolchildren contributed ideas to its design, and community construction took place in May 2003. That local history gives families something to look for while exploring the play structure.
Plan a play stop or check for an event
The park is open seven days a week during daylight hours. It works as a playground-and-picnic stop without needing to build a full-day itinerary around it.
Burley Public Library also uses Storybook Park for some scheduled children’s activities. Those programs have their own dates; a regular park visit does not include an organized activity. Check the library’s current calendar if you want to pair playtime with a program.
