Low-water ramp notice
Checked September 8, 2026: Buttercup Boat Ramp is closed, and the park warns that launching at Boulder Creek is at your own risk because of lower water levels. Confirm your intended ramp with the park at 208-382-6544 before towing a boat.
Camping and day visits
Camping choices range from primitive sites to serviced hookups. The park currently lists Van Wyck, Blue Heron, and Curlew for first-come camping; other camping units require reservations. Check the exact site’s services rather than assuming every campground has the same facilities.
Water and sewer availability depend on temperatures, especially around the beginning and end of the season. Day visitors should check entrance fees and the selected area’s access before traveling. Pack out your rubbish and check current fire restrictions before planning a campfire.
