💡 Good to Know

  • Greenbelt access update (November 2, 2026): Expo Idaho’s official park page says visitors can walk or bike into the park from the Boise River Greenbelt. Full through-access along the quarter-mile section behind Expo Idaho that was scheduled to close October 19–22 has not been separately confirmed. Check current access and follow posted signs when planning a through-route. Official park access information.
  • Pedestrians have priority. Keep right and announce passing; slow down around blind corners and bridges.
  • Dogs must be on a leash no longer than eight feet. Clean up after pets.
  • The unpaved Nature Path is for foot traffic only. Motorized vehicles and horses are generally prohibited; the city lists maintenance, patrol and disability-access exceptions.
  • The map pin identifies the Glenwood–Marigold parking access, one of several entrances to the Greenbelt. Use the city’s pathway map to choose your route.
