Ed Corkill Memorial Trail - Juliaetta Trailhead

The Ed Corkill Memorial River Trail is a 5.3-mile paved rail-trail connecting Juliaetta and Kendrick along the Potlatch River corridor. Built on a former Northern Pacific Railway line, the smooth asphalt route supports walking, bicycling, inline skating, wheelchair use, and seasonal cross-country skiing.

Good to Know

The Juliaetta trailhead is at Centennial Park on State Route 3, south of downtown. The northern endpoint is near Main Street/State Route 3 and West Front Street in Kendrick. The 5.3-mile one-way route works well for an out-and-back family ride or a point-to-point trip with a vehicle shuttle. The trail follows a former Northern Pacific Railway corridor that was converted to a paved public trail after the rail line was abandoned in 1997.
