Heroes Park is a 30-acre community park in Meridian that honors local and national American heroes from a variety of respected professions. Its playground, stocked fishing pond, athletic fields, walking paths, picnic shelters, and gardens offer families a mix of recreation and relaxed outdoor time.

💡 Good to Know
- The main picnic shelter includes electricity and a charcoal grill. It may be used free on a first-come, first-served basis when it is not reserved.
- A smaller shelter near the playground cannot be reserved and is always first-come, first-served.
- Picnic shelters are closed daily from 2:00–4:00 p.m. for cleaning, except during full-day reservations.
- The five multi-use athletic fields may be reserved for organized sports and events.
