🌳 Storey Park

Storey Park is Meridian’s oldest city park, established in 1980 and named in honor of former Meridian Mayor Don Storey. This 14-acre community park is conveniently located near downtown Meridian, the Meridian Dairy Barns, and the Meridian Speedway. In addition to its playground, ball-fields, and picnic areas, the park is home to the Meridian Pool, the Storey Bark Park off-leash dog park, and the Meridian Chamber of Commerce office, making it a popular destination for recreation and community events.

Seasonal Event

🌙 Meridian Monday Night Market is held at Storey Park during the warmer months, bringing local vendors, food, entertainment, and family activities to the park from 4:00–9:00 PM on scheduled Monday evenings.

🍂 The 2026 Harvest Edition is scheduled for October 5 from 4:00–9:00 PM, with free admission and optional paid activity passes. Check the Meridian Monday Night Market organizer for the current schedule and event details before visiting.

💡 Good to Know

• 🎉 Both picnic shelters are available to rent and include electricity and a free charcoal grill.
• 🌳 When shelters aren’t reserved, they’re available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• 🧹 Picnic shelters cannot be reserved or occupied between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM (except for full-day reservations) to allow for daily cleaning.
• ⚾ The park features one reservable adult baseball field and one reservable adult softball field, available for $15 per hour. Field lighting is available for an additional fee.
• 🐾 Storey Park is also home to Storey Bark Park, one of Meridian’s two dedicated off-leash dog parks.
• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 With its playground, swimming pool, sports fields, dog park, and spacious picnic areas, Storey Park is one of Meridian’s most popular parks for families, sports, and community gatherings.
