Upper Priest Lake Scenic Area protects the remote upper lake and its undeveloped forested shoreline in North Idaho’s Selkirk Mountains. The lake can be reached only by trail or by boat through the narrow Thoroughfare from Priest Lake, creating a quieter backcountry setting for paddling, hiking, wildlife viewing, fishing, and camping.
