One route climbs steeply toward views above the water; the creekside route leads downstream of the falls and may involve wading to see them. Reaching the base can require a steep, slippery descent. Road access has changed
A Forest Service-authored article in the Fall 2024 River Ranger reports that Grouse Creek Road 280 was rerouted in summer 2023 and the old section closed. It describes falls access via Road 280 down from the Wylie Creek trailhead. This is dated access history, not confirmation of present road conditions; older driving directions may be outdated.
