Westward Overlook at Lemhi Pass combines broad mountain views with one of Idaho’s most important Lewis and Clark historic landscapes. The overlook sits at the Idaho-Montana boundary in the Salmon-Challis National Forest and offers interpretive information, picnic tables, and access to hiking along the Continental Divide.

Good to Know
The Forest Service lists the general season of use beginning around May 15. There is no fee and no potable water. Lemhi Pass is about 12 miles east of Tendoy off Idaho Highway 28. Mountain weather and road conditions can affect access.
