Wendell Swimming Pool

Wendell Swimming Pool is a seasonal, heated outdoor public pool at McGinnis Park. The facility includes a 25-yard, six-lane pool, a detached kiddy pool, and a one-meter spring diving board, with open swim, lap swim, lessons, and team programming during the summer season.

Good to Know

The pool generally operates from June through mid-August. Current admission is $3 for all ages; children age two and younger are free with a paid adult. Credit cards are not accepted—bring cash or a check. Published hours are Monday–Thursday with lessons from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., open swim from 1 to 5 p.m., lap swim from 5 to 6 p.m., and night swim from 6 to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday open swim is 1 to 8 p.m. Check the official pool page for current dates, hours, programs, and prices before visiting.
