💡 Good to Know
- A current cyanobacteria alert applies to Lake Walcott. Check the state alert before water recreation, avoid blooms and keep children and pets away from affected water.
- Fall water-system construction will close camping and prevent pavilion reservations; exact dates are pending. Lake levels are low and boat-ramp handling docks and kayak-launch docks have been removed for the season.
- The September 20 update changes visitor-center hours to Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., closed weekends and holidays. Call ahead during construction.
