Henrys Lake State Park

Henrys Lake State Park is a 585-acre, year-round lakeside park near Island Park and 15 miles west of Yellowstone National Park. Set on the shoreline of 6,000-acre Henrys Lake, the park is best known for cutthroat, brook, and cut-bow hybrid trout fishing, with camping, boating, paddling, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, and mountain scenery.

Good to Know

Day-use areas are generally open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The motor-vehicle entrance fee is $7 per vehicle, or visitors may use an Idaho State Parks Passport or annual pass. Pets are welcome on a leash no longer than six feet. The park is open and staffed during winter, with approximately a dozen dry RV sites, three heated cabins, and access for ice fishing; drinking water is not available during winter.
