• The WMA is closed to general vehicle travel. Visitors should use designated parking and continue on foot.
• Six shallow nesting ponds are closed to public access from February 1 through July 31 to protect waterfowl.

• This is an active wildlife-management and hunting area. Check current hunting seasons, closures, and regulations before visiting, and consider bright clothing during hunting seasons.
• Expect undeveloped ground, water hazards, insects, and limited facilities.
• Keep children close near the river, ponds, and boat ramp.
