I.B. Perrine Bridge

The I.B. Perrine Bridge spans the Snake River Canyon at the northern edge of Twin Falls. The 1,500-foot arch bridge rises 486 feet above the Snake River and has pedestrian walkways on both sides. Families can park beside the Twin Falls Visitor Center, enjoy paved canyon viewpoints, connect with the Canyon Rim Trail, and sometimes watch BASE jumpers leap from the bridge.

💡 Good to Know

Admission and parking are free, and daylight is the best time for sightseeing. Use the Visitor Center parking area and designated pedestrian routes rather than stopping along the bridge or traffic lanes.

The bridge is an active four-lane highway crossing. Expect traffic noise, strong canyon winds, sun exposure, and limited shade; keep children close while using the walkways and overlooks.

BASE jumping is permitted throughout the year, but jumps are not scheduled and depend on weather and jumper activity. Spectators should remain on public walkways and stay clear of launch and landing areas. Public restrooms are available near the bridge at the Visitor Center, although the building’s hours may differ from general sightseeing hours.

Maintenance, inspections, or severe weather can occasionally restrict pedestrian access. Follow posted signs and check Idaho 511 when travel conditions are uncertain.
